Aquatecnic’s range of made-to-measure and stock size wetroom shower tray formers are designed for strength, ease of application and peace of mind (25 year guarantee). Our shower tray formers provide the required slope to falls for wetrooms and level access shower areas and include a choice of integrated drainage solution. The formers are available with either a linear grating, a traditional square or circular grating or with an Infinity wall drain. In all cases they can be manufactured to suit your exact requirements, irrespective of shape or size.
Aquatecnic formers are made from 24mm sustainable hardwood ply; a strong and long-lasting material which forms a rigid and stable base for your shower. The plywood used in the manufacture of Aquatecnic shower tray formers is certified as being from a renewable source that meets FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) guidelines.
Shower tray formers are always covered prior to use, which is why they are sometimes called “invisible shower trays”. The covering layers consist of Aquaproof Wetroom Tanking System, followed by tile-adhesive and tiles or vinyl safety flooring. For tiled floor finishes we offer a wide range of stainless steel, square or linear gratings.
For vinyl finishes, as standard we offer a circular grating in either white plastic or chrome. We can also provide a linear drainage system for a vinyl floor, but this is a bespoke solution, so please contact us for further advice.
All our formers are supplied with a high-quality waste outlet with an integral 50mm water trap. These are available with either a horizontal or vertical waste pipe attachment and have a drainage capacity of 46LPM.
We can also offer untrapped gulleys (for connection to a waste pump), wastes with a 60 LPM flow rate, Caroflow Lo-line outlets (only 95mm deep) and wastes with a 75mm water trap.
